InApril2026,through its engagement in environmental and climate action,IPE witnessed656enterprisesdisclosinga total of667carbon emission data sheets, and687enterprisesdisclosing a total of696PRTR (Pollutant Release and Transfer Register) data sheets. In addition,113enterprisespassed the GCA audit, verifying the effectiveness of their corrective actionsof318supervision records from the Blue Map website. DualCarbon Actions In the past month, the total carbon emissions disclosed through the Blue Mapreached8,807,300 tons of CO2e.These emissions were reported by 656enterprises across 28industries (see Figure 1 for emission distribution ranges, and Figures 2 and 3 for thedistribution of enterprises and emissions by industry). We believe that brands are motivating keyenterprisestoaccuratelycalculate and disclosetheircarbon data, extending this influence further upstream to unlock emission reductionpotential through the supply chain. This reflects the efforts brands are making to promotegreen supply chains. At the same time, enterprises'voluntary disclosure of carbon emissionsfrom their own operations (Scope 1+2) demonstrates their commitment to environmental andsocial responsibility-a practice worthy offullrecognition. Among the enterprises that disclosed carbon data in the past month: ⚫570enterprises used theCorporate GHG Emissions Accounting Platformto calculate theirgreenhouse gas emissions.⚫50 enterprises completed third-party verification and uploaded verification reports. Ofthese, 31 enterprises were from the Computers, Communications and ElectronicsEquipment Manufacturing;3 from Textiles,Textiles and Apparel;2 from ElectricMachineryand Equipment Manufacturing; 2 from Leather, Fur, Feather Products andFootwear; 2 from Metal Products; 2 from Rubber and Plastic Products; 2 from SpecializedEquipment Manufacturing; 1 from Automobile Manufacturing; 1 from Chemical FiberManufacturing; 1from Chemical Raw Materials and Chemical Manufacturing; 1 fromOther Manufacturing; 1 from Paper Products and Manufacturing; 1 from the Repair ofMotor Vehicles, Electronic Products and Commodities.⚫61enterprisescalculated and disclosed Scope 3 (value chain) emissions in addition toScope 1+2 (own operations) emissions.⚫236enterpriseshaveset carbon reduction targets. Among them,181enterprises setabsolute reduction targetswhile55set intensity reduction targets.Enterprises withabsolute emission reduction targets for Scope 1, Scope 2 or Scope 1+2 have a totaltargeted reduction of approximately939,500 tCO₂e.⚫Enterpriseswho disclosed carbon emissions came primarily from the industries ofTextiles, Textiles and Apparel, as well as Computers, Communications and ElectronicsEquipment Manufacturing. Among these,263enterprises fromthe Textiles, Textiles andApparel reported a total emission of5.1150million tons of CO₂e;108enterprises fromthe Computers, Communications and Electronics Equipment Manufacturing reported atotal emission of1.9740million tons of CO₂e.⚫31enterprises have disclosed emission reduction actions including equipmentupgrading, process improvement and green power application, with a total emissionreduction of 0.1892million tons of CO₂e.⚫27enterpriseshave disclosed45product carbon footprint certificates or reports verifiedby third parties. These disclosures cover products such as printed circuit boards, synthetic leather and dyed fabric. The lifecycle emission factors used in these assessments were sourced from databases such as the China Products Carbon FootprintFactors Database (CPCD), Simapro, Ecoinvent, as well as published literature.
