Report 2024 An open-access dataplatform for NewZealandʼs techecosystem. Accessible to anyone, toprovide data transparency,learn about the ecosystem,measure KPIs, promotestartups. Scope of the report The findings of this report provide a comprehensivemeasurement of New Zealandʼs startup ecosystem on anumber of different fronts, from local value creation toVC investment and startup demographics. The report covers all startups based in New Zealand, aswell as those founded in the country but later relocatedabroad. Data collection was completed as of June 2024, withcurrency conversions calculated at a rate of US$1 =NZ$1.6. The accuracy and completeness of the datadepend on the information available from Dealroom andother public sources.
