4THEDITION – 2026-2027 Programme Overview Since its inception in 2019, the FIFA Diploma in Football Law has becomea well-established, prestigious legal course on football for qualified legalexperts from across the globe. Module Dates and Locations Introduction to Football Law 12-15 May 2026|Miami (United States) Module 1 provides an overview of the legal framework governing football, including keyprinciples and the role of various football governing bodies. FIFA Transfer Regulations — Part I 15-18 September 2026|Asunción (Paraguay) Module 2 covers the basics of FIFA’s transfer regulations, focusing on the dispute resolutionsystem, player-club matters, such as the signing and breach of contracts, registration issues,and national-team matters. FIFA Transfer Regulations – Part 2 10-13 November 2026|Rabat (Morocco) Module 3 delves deeper into FIFA’s transfer regulations, addressing the signing and breach ofcontracts, transfer issues, and the concepts of solidarity and training compensation. Other Aspects of Football Law February 2027|Dubai (United Arab Emirates) Module 4 explores additional legal aspects of football, including disciplinary, doping, andintegrity matters, as well as commercial rights, TV rights, and sponsorship. This module willinclude participation in the FIFA Football Law Annual Review 2027. CAS Proceedings 11-14 May 2027|Zurich (Switzerland) Module 5 examines the procedures and practices of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS),including how disputes in football are resolved through arbitration, and it looks at someleading CAS cases. ProgrammeMethodology Participants’ Profile The FIFA Diploma in Football Law is designed for sports executives whowant to enhance their knowledge of football law to further their career, whilereceiving a comprehensive, in-depth overview of the latest football law rulesand trends from experts who are active at all levels of the football industry. The FIFA Diploma in Football Law, conductedexclusively in English,engages participants through sessions,discussions,case studies,and interactive activities, with each module and topic designed tocomplement and enhance the others. A potential participant in this programme may work in the legal departmentof a FIFA Member Association, hold a legal position at a players’ union, clubor league, or work as a sports lawyer in the football field. Each module spans four days. Upon successful completion of theprogramme, participants will receive anofficial certificate ofcompletion issued by FIFA. Speakers The FIFA Diploma in Football Law is taught byexperienced footballlaw specialists. The various modules will be delivered byFIFA lawyers,independent attorneys,CAS arbitrators,and executives of footballinstitutions. Application Process Applications for the fourth edition of the FIFA Diploma inFootballLaw are accepted until 15 January 2026.The Academic Board will selectup to 30 participants.All applicants will be informed of their application status.APPLYHERE Tuition Fees Contact The programmefee of USD 10,000is due upon acceptance and coversmaterials and operational costs for all five modules, including lunches,coffee breaks and select group activities. FIFA will cover the tuition feesand travel expenses for participants from FIFA Member Associations.The travel expenses incurred by other participants are to be borne by theparticipant themselves or their sponsoring organisation.
