Management Discussion and Analysis Management Discussion and Analysis 7.1%933.51,005.019.7%116.8145.4(i)(ii)12.5%14.5% For the Review Period, the total revenue of the Group decreasedbyapproximately 7.1%to approximately RMB933.5 million(sixmonths ended 30 June 2024: approximately RMB1,005.0 million)as compared with that in the same period of 2024, and the overallgrossprofit of the Group decreased by approximately 19.7%period-on-period to approximately RMB116.8 million (six monthsended30 June 2024:approximately RMB145.4 million).Theperiod-on-period decrease in the overall gross profit was mainlydue to (i) the sales volume and the average unit selling price ofproducts of the Group’s pigment intermediates and new materialssegment for the six months ended 30 June 2025 increased ascompared with that in the same period of 2024, resulting in anincrease in the gross profit for the same segment as comparedwith that in the same period of 2024; and (ii) the average unitsellingprice of dye and agricultural chemical intermediatesproducts for the six months ended 30 June 2025 decreased ascompared with that in the same period of 2024 due to adversemarketfluctuations,resulting in a decrease in the gross profitfor the same segment as compared with that in the same periodof 2024.
