In parallel, we arewitnessing an explosion of new tools and strategiesfordriving positive transformation at scale.Thisfluid, chaotic moment in history is one of tremendouschoice, opportunity and consequence for individuals,institutionsand societies in which large-scaletransformation is both most possible and most urgent.The thesis of this paper is that, in this period, the causallogics by which transformation can occur are changingand that a new set of policy levers based on these newlogics is emerging that make it possible for leadersto accelerate transformative processes intentionally.Thepurpose of the paper is to introduce leadersand policymakers to these emerging logics and theinstruments by which they can be harnessed in practicein the following broad categories:StrategicStrategiclogics derive their transformative powerprimarilyfrom factors in the external environmentand target strategic outcomes of national scale andof significant long-term consequence.
