Under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee withComrade Xi Jinping at its core, China’s economic recovery and growthwere boosted, steady progress was made in pursuing high-qualitydevelopment, and solid advances were made in building a modernsocialist country in all respects. The Central Financial Work Conferencewas successfully held, drawing up a new blueprint for building a strongfinancial country, and providing fundamental guidance for financialinstitutions to unswervingly pursue the path of financial developmentwith Chinese characteristics and serve high-quality economic and socialdevelopment. Adhere to our key responsibilities and main businesses, and makeevery effort to provide financial services for the construction ofChina’s strength in agriculture. Agricultural Bank of China adheredto its original aspiration and mission, focused on serving “Sannong”(agriculture, rural areas and farmers) and fully developed its role in ruralrevitalization as a leading bank. As of the end of 2023, the county-levelloan balance recorded RMB 8.78 trillion. We actively served key areassuch as seed industry revitalization and food security, and innovatedand promoted financing models such as high-standard farmlandconstruction. We continuously increased financial support for 832counties lifted out of poverty and 160 counties with key assistance fornational rural revitalization, and promoted the effective connectionbetween consolidating and expanding the achievements in povertyalleviation and rural revitalization. We vigorously supported the greendevelopment of agriculture and rural areas, provided precise financialservices for ecological agriculture, green animal husbandry and otherspecialty industries, strengthened financial support in rural publicinfrastructure, residential environment improvement, urban-ruralintegrated development and other fields, served the construction of abeautiful and harmonious countryside that is desirable to live and workin, and continuously improved the quality and efficiency of financialservices for Sannong and County Areas and rural revitalization.
