In2024, the global economy started to show signs of recovery fromvariouseconomic challenges,along with geopolitical tensionsandtrade disputes.G-Resources has successfully navigatedthese challenges, maintaining stable business development andstrengthening our market position for long-term growth. Throughout 2024, the Group continued to focus on our threemainbusinesses:financial services,principal investment,andreal property. Ourfinancial services business has continuously achieved anetprofit during the Year,despite the ongoing geopoliticalchallenges and trade tensions, particularly the Sino-US disputes.Asthe global economy began to recover,2024 emergedasa remarkable year for the securities markets in MainlandChina, Hong Kong, and the United States, characterised by aresurgence in investor confidence and increased market activity.Supported by our experienced management team, robust tradinginfrastructure and strong client relationships, the revival of theinitial public offerings (the “IPO”) in Hong Kong has benefitedourbusiness.Looking ahead to 2025,we remain optimisticaboutthe Hong Kong securities market,which continues toattract investors due to its strategic location and close ties withMainland China.
