Through the electricitytrading business and the New Zealand subsidiary acquired in themid-year of 2024, the Green Power Energy Business segmentsuccessfully generated approximately HK$42.3 million in revenue andapproximately HK$3 million in profit, reflecting a significant increaseof approximately 195 times in the segment revenue compared to lastyear. The Group is confident that these businesses will continue togrow and reveal strong development potential. With the increasingglobal demand for sustainable development and renewable energysolutions, the Board is confident in future growth prospects. AI+ AI + Electricity Trading Business 2023202419.120242025 In 2023, in recognition of the significant business opportunitiesarising from China’s electricity market reform, the Group officiallylaunched its electricity trading business. The Group successfullyobtained two electricity sales licenses in Guangdong and Shandong,being provinces with mature electricity spot markets. This businessgenerated approximately HK$19.1 million in revenue in 2024 andestablished a strong platform for continued growth in the future.With the Group successively obtaining three additional electricitysales licenses in Hunan, Guangxi, and Shanxi during 2024, followingthe advancement of national electricity market reform, the electricitytrading business is expected to continue to achieve growth in 2025,which would lay the foundation for the Group to become a leadingelectricity trading company in terms of transaction scale in the nationalelectricity market.
