The construction of ecological civilisation was afundamental plan related to the sustainable development of theChinese nation. A good ecological environment was the fairest publicproduct and the most inclusive welfare for people’s livelihood. KunmingDianchi Water Treatment Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) always insisted onnational strategic tasks such as the “dual carbon” goals as guideline,unwaveringly practiced the development idea of “lucid waters andlush mountains are invaluable assets”. The Company maintained thestrategic focus for ecological civilization construction, focused on mainresponsibilities and main business, actively carried out reforms andinnovations, and promoted high-quality sustainable development of theCompany. 2024 PERFORMANCE REVIEW: 20241,594.2202311.8%263.2202316.8%0.26 Over the past year, in the face of complex international and domesticenvironment and severe economic situation, the Board and themanagement of the Company adhered to the general keynote of“making progress while maintaining stability”, strengthened workstyle construction, and focused on reform and innovation. Basedon the work philosophy of “promoting development through stableproduction, and ensuring operations through increasing income andreducing expenditure”, we maintained the stable development of corebusinesses, prevented and resolved material risks, continued to reducecosts and increase efficiency, so as to ensure that the production andoperation of the Company operated in a smooth manner. In 2024, theCompany recorded total operating revenue of RMB1,594.2 million,representing a decrease of 11.8% over 2023. The net profit attributableto the Shareholders was approximately RMB263.2 million, representinga decrease of 16.8% over 2023, and basic earning per share wasapproximately RMB0.26. The Company maintained the wastewater treatment businessas the basic foundation of its operation and development, promotedthe concentration of resources on main businesses and advantageousareas, optimized industrial structure, strengthened the coordinatedmanagement, improved operational efficiency and helped reduce costsand increase efficiency. In 2024, the wastewater treatment plantsoperated by the Company processed 669.3 million cubic meters ofwastewater, and supplied 103.8 million cubic meters of water (includingrunning water and reclaimed water). The overall passing rate ofthe quality of water supplied met relevant standards, treated waterwas steadily discharged in compliance with wastewater treatmentstandards, energy consumption indicators were controlled withinreasonable ranges, and 100% of the designed capacity of wastewatertreatment met the national standard.
