BUSINESS AND OPERATIONAL REVIEW Forthe Period under Review,the principal business ofthe Company together with its subsidiaries (collectively asthe “Group”) continue to be integrated financial services(“IntegratedFinancial Services”),investment holdings,computergraphic imaging(“CGI”)and entertainmentbusiness.The Integrated Financial Services comprisesofsecurities brokerage and related financial advisoryservices,margin financing services,asset managementservices, corporate finance advisory services, money lendingservices, securities investments and proprietary trading. TheGroup started engaging in film distribution license rightsbusiness since 2nd quarter of 2023 which is operated byits subsidiaries and reported under entertainment segment. (a) (a)Integrated Financial Service Businesses (i) (i)Brokerage and related services For the Period under Review, the Company carriesout securities brokerage business and relatedfinancial advisory services through its indirectnon-wholly-owned subsidiaries, Imagi BrokerageLimited (“Imagi Brokerage”) and Supreme ChinaSecuritiesLimited(“Supreme China”).ImagiBrokerage is a registered licensed corporationunder Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (the “SFO”)since 2004 to trade in securities through thetrading facilities of The Stock Exchange of HongKong Limited (the “Stock Exchange”) and is,among other things, an Exchange Participant ofthe Stock Exchange and a Clearing ParticipantofHong Kong Securities Clearing CompanyLimited.
