During the reporting year, Hong Kong and the global economyhave gradually rebounded from the trough. However, the paceof economic recovery is hindered by various factors, includingtighteningof monetary policy and geopolitical tensions.Additionally, the second-hand luxury market remained active,leadingto the great performance of pawn business andcontributed to profit growth for the year. 2019 With the resumption of business activities after Covid-19, theHong Kong Government has put in effort into organising differentworld-class mega events to attract visitors and to boost marketactivities. The Group is pleased to see a more durable economicrevival that drives enterprises’ growth, which in turn will increasethe overall loan demand in the future. To capture the post-pandemic opportunities, we got a head start andlaunched a premier service center at East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Stationof Tuen Ma Line. This is a significant milestone as it is the Group’sfirst location in an MTR station. The service center complementedwith our newly developed pawn loan mobile application. Along withthe new venture, we are dedicated to providing customers with astreamlined one-stop loan solutions, signifying a ground breakingshift in the conventional pawnbroking landscape.
