FINANCIAL AND BUSINESS REVIEW 2023 Last financial year, the Company’s business performance was affected by the shrinkin demand and the furious competition in the textile industry. Confronted with fullof obstacles and challenges, the management were resilient in coping with thedifficulties. As we left behind 2023, a year full of turbulence, business is starting to riseas economies and market sentiment have been improved. BUSINESS OUTLOOK Persistently sharpening our competitive edge is one of the Company’s priorities. Wewill continue to strengthen and advance the Group’s research and development(“R&D”) capability. We will allocate more marketing resources to cultivate domesticbusiness and to explore non-clothing textiles to be used in automobiles and others.We believe that these measures will boost the Company’s adaptability in the changingbusiness environment and contribute to stabilize the operation, particularly of thePanyu Factory. Given the Company’s objective “to provide comfort and joy through unique textiles”,we would always keep ourselves innovative and never compromise on the qualityof our products and services. Our R&D function will work towards to offering morevariety of high quality fabrics to satisfy customers’ need.
