Factors suchas rapid interest rate hikes in the United States, depreciationofthe Renminbi,trade war,Russia - Ukraine and Israeli -Palestinian geopolitical conflicts and tight global energy supplyhavecaused rising inflation,high transportation costs anddeclining consumption power, which became major challengestothe global economy.Foreign demand for toys was alsoweakening, and the recovery of domestic toy sales did not meetexpectations.However,high-quality products could still helpenterprisesachieve stable performance in difficult situations.In2023,China’s toy exports amounted to USD40.57 billion,down12.2%year on year,with negative growth for eightconsecutivemonths.Even though the toy market in Europeand America was still vibrant during the Christmas season, andtrendy toys recorded good sales in China during the “Double 11”shopping festival, the overall consumption was sluggish. Facinguncertainties at home and abroad, the Group closely monitoredwhenthe European and American economies would regainmomentum. The Company adjusted its business strategy in atimely manner by outsourcing the production process for mostorders, reducing fixed staff costs and machinery maintenancecosts,and strengthening production management manpowertoensure the timely delivery of products,but its productioncostsincreased and gross profit decreased.The Companyhasmaintained market competitiveness and technologicaladvantages in research and development during difficult times,thusachieving the strategic goal of generating income andsaving cost. The Group actively explored emerging markets andtheir importers, and reduced the number of customers who relyon European and American markets for a long time. The Group continues to make optimization in various aspectssuchas market expansion,brand building,research anddevelopmentand innovation,risk management and talentattraction, so as to improve quality, raise efficiency and enhancecore competitiveness.
