To cope withthe pressure of volatility and boost market confidence, theGroup endeavoured to enhance its performance and deepenits business transformation. The Group’s revenue in 2023was US$22.5 million (2022: US$29.4 million), a year-on-yeardecrease of 23.6%. Gross profit for the year decreased by31.0% year-on-year to US$8.4 million. Basic loss per share forthe year were US 4.3 cents (2022: basic earnings per share ofUS 17.9 cents). In appreciation of shareholders’ support for theGroup, the Board of Directors has proposed a final dividend ofUS0.1 cent, totalling US$415,743. 年內，本集團各級業務線積極參與各大展會，推廣公司新老產品的同時，挖掘產業發展趨勢中的契合點，發現更多可深化合作的應用場景。此外，集團子公司國微集團（深圳）有限公司在企業資質認證方面亦成績顯著，年內被深圳市中小企業服務局認證為「創新型中小企業」及「專精特新中小企業」，充分證明我司在科研創新、成果轉化、產業鏈協同發展等諸多方面獲政府高度認可。 During the year, the Group’s business lines at all levels activelyparticipated in major exhibitions and fairs to promote theCompany’s new and old products, while at the same timeexploring points of convergence in the development trendof the industry and discovering more application scenariosfor further co-operation. In addition, the Group’s subsidiary,SMIT Shenzhen, also achieved remarkable results in termsof enterprise qualification certification.
