The market dynamicswere characterised by intense competition and overcapacity, whichinevitably led to a decline in handling prices and a surge in operationalcosts that the Group’s financial performance mirrored these marketconditions. 回顧過去的一年，中國（尤其是江蘇省內）的危 險 廢 物 處 置 行 業 於 二 零 二 三 年 顯 然 面 對一系列特有的挑戰。市場競爭激烈、產能過剩，不可避免地導致處置價格下降、營運成本飆升，本集團的財務表現亦反映該等市況。 For the year ended 31 December 2023, the Group’s revenue fromcontinuing operations decreased by 21.4% to HK$405,612,000 ascompared to the previous year, and the Group recorded a post-tax lossof HK$35,767,000 as compared to the net profit of HK$4,564,000 inprevious year. 截至二零二三年十二月三十一日止年度，本集 團 來 自 持 續 經 營 業 務 的 收 益 較 去 年 下 跌21.4%至405,612,000港 元，而 與 去 年 的 淨利 潤4,564,000港 元 相 比，本 集 團 錄 得 稅 後虧損35,767,000港元。 Adjusted EBITDA in 2023 decreased by 28.2% to HK$82,450,0
