The Players’ Status Chamber of the FIFA Players’ Status Committee has ruled on an employment-related dispute between Romanian coach Boșneag Ionuț Ionel and Saudi Arabian club Al Raed. The contract between the two parties was valid from July 2022 until June 2024, and the club agreed to pay the coach a monthly salary of USD 7,000 net. The contract also included clauses regarding the coach's responsibilities, including preparing and implementing first team trainings, selecting players for the first team squad, managing the first team during competitions, and training management with the team coach and first team medical staff. The decision of the Players' Status Chamber ruled in favor of the coach, stating that the club was in breach of the contract by failing to meet its obligations.
