MANAGEMENT DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS管理層討論及分析 業務回顧 BUSINESS REVIEW For the six months ended 30 September 2023 (the “Period”)underreview,Chinlink International Holdings Limited(the“Company” or “Chinlink”) and its subsidiaries (collectively the“Group”) recorded total revenue of HK$47.2 million, representinga drop of 24.7% compared with the corresponding period lastyear (the “Previous Period”). 於 回 顧 之 截 至 二 零 二 三 年 九 月 三 十 日 止 六 個 月(「本期間」),普匯中金國際控股有限公司(「本公司」或「普匯中金」)及其附屬公司(統稱「本集團」)錄得總收入47,200,000港元 ,較去年同期(「去年同期」)下滑24.7%。 儘管對二零二三年年初經濟迅速復甦抱持樂觀態度 ,但在擺脫歷時三年的二零一九年冠狀病毒病(「新冠肺炎」)疫情限制後 ,中華人民共和國(「中國」)仍在努力應對日益嚴峻的挑戰 ,包括房地產危機加劇 、地方政府債務上升 、失業率高企 、消費者支出疲軟及流動性緊縮 ,尤其反映在私營機構 。中國 、美國(「美國」)與西方國家之間的貿易保護和地緣政治緊張加劇 ,導致外國直接投資下降和出口下滑 ,進而損害增長 。 Despite the optimism of a swift economic recovery in early 2023,after emerging from three years of Coronavirus Disease 2019(“COVID-19”) restrictions, the People’s Republic of China (the“PRC” or “China”) is still grappling with mounting challenges,ranging from a deepening property crisis, rising local governmentdebts, high unemployment rate, weak consumer spending, andliquidity crunch, which is especially felt by the private sector. Theheightened trade protection and geopolitical tensions betweenChina, the United States of America (“US”), and the Westerncountries, leading to drops in direct foreign investment and adecline in exports, further underminded the growth. Duringthe past decades,the real estate sector has beenasignificant growth driver in the Chinese economy and aheavy component of household wealth. In recent months, afew prominent real estate developers fell into deep debt andsolvency crises, which aroused concerns about the impact onthe country’s overall financial stability. Liquidity is tight becausebanks and financial institutions are cautious of the ripple effectof the property slump. Prices of resident housing across thecountry recorded continuous declines in the past 12 months inboth the primary and secondary markets. Demand is weak dueto oversupply and loss of confidence.
