R17RedCap技术,助力5G终端更轻、更简、更优化 国际电信联盟(ITU)定义了5G的三大需求,分别是eMBB(增强型移动宽带)、uRLLC(低时延高可靠通信)和mMTC(海量物联网机器类通信)三大应用场景 n2018年,R15提供了大幅超越4G体验的5GeMBB能力。n2020年,R16提供了完整的URLLC能力,使能低时延、高可靠、TSN时间同步网络,为智能制造工厂类业务提供了基于蜂窝技术前所未有的体验。n2022年,R17完成,为业界带来了基于NR新空口的5G物联网技术RedCap,定义了面向物联网的第一款5G NR终端类型。üRedCap定位:相比eMBB、URLLC更轻量级、更低复杂度、更低成本üRedCap意义:大幅降低5G终端模组成本,扩展5G生态系统,推动5G在更多行业的落地和增长。 RedCap标准化,指导5G行业发展 R17RedCap典型应用场景 RedCap是3GPP R17面向低复杂度5G终端类型的标准,旨在打造轻量级终端,满足中速物联网需求。针对无线传感器、视频监控、可穿戴等业务应用,利用RedCap,可同时满足业务性能和低成本需求 参考比特速率<2Mbps,可靠性为99.99%,端到端时延<100ms。对于安全类型的传感器,时延需求更低,为5-10ms,电源可持续数年 工业无线传感器 经济型视频,参考比特速率为2-4Mbps,可靠性为99%-99.9%,时延<500ms。高端视频,例如用于农业,需要7.5-25Mbps。视频监控的业务模型主要为上行传输 视频监控 例如:智能手表、可穿戴医疗设备、AR/VR护目镜等。 参考比特速率为下行5-50Mbps和上行2-5Mbps,峰值速率下行达到150Mbps,上行达到50Mbp。电源应能持续1-2周 R17RedCap研究内容(1/2) Specify support for the following UE complexity reduction features [RAN1, RAN2, RAN4]: oReduced maximum UE bandwidth: Maximum bandwidth of anFR1RedCapUEduring and after initial access is20MHz.Maximum bandwidth of anFR2RedCapUEduring and after initial access is100MHz.oReduced minimum number of Rx branches: For frequency bands where a legacy NR UE is required to be equipped with a minimum of 2 Rx antenna ports, the minimum number of Rx branches supported by specification for aRedCapUE is1.
