However, China has maintained itsoverall economic and social stability. 二零二三年初，新冠疫情迅速減退，各行各業步入疫後復蘇階段；今年一季度，內需復蘇的勢頭明顯；可到了二季度，需求面的三個指標，即外需中的出口、內需中的零售以及投資都出現明顯下行趨勢，預示著經濟復蘇基礎尚不穩固，經濟下行壓力加大。中國國家統計局公布的七月份宏觀數據顯示，各項經濟指標全面回落。目前中國經濟面臨的最大挑戰，是需求不足，增長乏力、預期減弱。 At the beginning of 2023, the COVID-19 pandemicreceded rapidly, and all walks of life entered the post-pandemic recovery stage. In the first quarter of thisyear, the momentum of domestic demand recoverywas obvious. However, in the second quarter, theth r e e i n d i c a t o r s o f d e m a n d , n a m e l y e x p o r t s i nexternal demand, retail sales in domestic demand, andinvestment, all showed apparent downward trends,indicating that the economic recovery foundation is notyet solid and the downward pressure on the economyis increasing. The July macroeconomic data releasedby the National Bureau of Statistics of China revealed acomprehensive decline in various economic indicators.Currently, the biggest challenge facing the Chineseeconomy is insufficient demand, weak growth andweakening expectations. 過去一年半裡，本集團業務受到新冠疫情及艱難的內外部環境的負面影響。但本集團對未來業務前景始終保持審慎樂觀，繼續堅持穩中求進，多元化發展，穩固現有彩票業務基礎上，積極拓展中國生態旅遊及天然健康食品業務。 In the past year and a half, our Group’s business wasadversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and amidstdifficult internal and external environment.
