The investmentand construction growth in Yunnan Province has also slowed down. According to statisticsfrom the China Concrete & Cement-based Products Association, the cumulative outputof ready-mixed concrete for large-scale enterprises decreased by 1.3% period-on-periodfrom January to May 2023. According to the Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Statistics (雲南省統計局), in the first half of 2023, the province’s fixed asset investment (excludingrural households) decreased by 5% period-on-period. The real estate developmentinvestment decreased by 33%, and transportation investment decreased by 16%.
