Impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the economies across the globe have been adversely affected by different extent of severity. The China’s economy, being the second largest and one of the largest trading partner in the world, was not immune from it and shrank in the first quarter of 2020 for the first time in decades. Through effective implementation of a series of epidemic containment measures by strong governance, the situation got under control and the economy bounced back notably in the second half bringing its GDP in 2020 to a mild year-on-year growth of 2.3%. However, the overall customer’s spending and certain hardest hit aviation and hospitality sectors are not recovered to the pre-pandemic level. The financial marke
