Having been off the mark last year by choosing Europe as the region likely to provide the biggest upside, this year's participants displayed a clear preference for Asia ex. Japan: 37% expected AxJto be the best performing region (followed by the US and Europe). China’s growth and currency concerns were picked as one of the top-two risks by 54% of the participants (sharply up from 18% last year). This was followed closely by geopolitical issues (36% of votes) and rising debt defaults (32% of the votes). 39% of attendees expected Asian markets to be up 10-20% in 2016 (a further 43% expect it to be flat).
