The Group recorded an increase in loss of approximately HK$45.2 million attributable to owners of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2021. Such increase was mainly attributable to an increase in loss arising in change in fair value of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss of approximately HK$43.1 million.PROSPECTS2021 was an extremely challenging year for the Company, after experiencing a heavy sell-off in the second half of the year, a lot of our investment did not recover as expected. With the Federal Reserve expected to end the quantitative easing program, and start hiking rates to combat inflation, the Board believes such contraction of the Fed’s balance sheet will negatively impact the market; furthermore, Russia/Ukraine conflict weighed on sentiment, reviving worries about the widening differences between the United States and China.Since the outlook remains uncertain, the Company will remain focused on finding and purchasing strong companies that are trading at an attractive value, and the Company will increase its cash position and reinvest when it finds suitable.The Company also believes the world ahead will be built on Generation Z who are born after the computer era, therefore, the Company will continue to invest in Web3 platforms that are able to provide holistic solutions and cater to people’s needs in the digital era.致各位股東：本人謹此代表Global Mastermind Capital Limited環球大通投資有限公司*（「本公司」）董 事（「董事」）會（「董事會」）向 閣下提呈本公司及其附屬公 司（「本集團」）截至二零二一年十二月三十一日止年度之年度報告。截至二零二一年十二月三十一日止年度，本集團錄得本公司擁有人應佔虧損約64,000,000港元，而截至二零二零年十二月三十一日止年度之本公司擁有人應佔虧損約18,800,000港元。截至二零二一年十二月三十一日止年度，本集團錄得本公司擁有人應佔虧損增加約45,200,000港元。該增加乃主要由於透過損益賬以公平值
